In this discourse, I shall address the imperative of defining the spiritual being in accordance with my dogmatic Calvinist stance. While it is commendable for Christians to engage in altruistic pursuits for the betterment of humanity, the extent of their value is subject to scrutiny. However, I am apprehensive when my fellow Calvinists adopt a moderate approach, as the notion of truth is singular and predicated upon unalterable principles.Incorporating biblical teachings, it is widely believed that truth is a fundamental component in the nourishment of the soul, analogous to the sustenance acquired from a meal. The spiritual dimensions of human existence are frequently portrayed as ripe fruits, and their influence on the soul can engender a heightened sense of vigor. Personally, I harbor antipathy towards Greek philosophical concepts as they have a predilection for altering the primary connotation of the Hebrew motif, resulting in a divergence from the apostles' urging to emulate their conduct.Paul did not possess the divine capacity to receive unadulterated revelations comparable to a Greek god descending from the sky to deliver a message. Instead, his teachings on salvation were derived from his examination of the Old Testament scriptures. It is significant to acknowledge that we are not creating a contradiction between these two hermeneutical viewpoints, but rather revealing how the Old Testament is manifested in the New Testament. This methodology recognizes that the Bible encompasses more than simply portrayals of the physical world or the collection of assurances and instructions. The Bible is a comprehensive literary work that offers valuable insights into the human condition and the origins of our beliefs. Rather than presenting a novel approach to addressing psychological and emotional challenges, the Bible delves deeply into the fundamental aspects of human identity. One need not adopt the language or philosophy of ancient Greek theologians in order to comprehend the teachings of the Bible. Instead, the Old Testament serves as a crucial foundation for exploring the essence of humanity and the process of redemption. The aforementioned statement holds significant significance as it pertains to the fundamental matter of classifying Christian individuals based on their beliefs and behaviors. This classification may potentially lead to the restructuring of doctrines and their impact on an individual's psyche. The restructuring of the power dynamic between God and humanity would have profound implications for essential theological concepts such as salvation, sin, judgement, and grace. It is for this reason that I hold a strong affinity towards Calvinism, as it is not simply a collection of principles but rather a profound and intimate experience of God's transformative power within oneself.
