There is a significant difference between how God treats people who are good ("saints") and how He deals with people who are bad ("sinners"). He disciplines the people He loves (like His children) to help them learn and grow, but this process never stops while we're alive. Once someone dies and goes to heaven, they won't need to be disciplined anymore because God always does what is best for His children, even if that includes letting them experience some tough times.God's love for us should not be based on blindly following Him in the hope that He will protect us from all trials and difficult circumstances. Instead, our trust in Christ should be based on His obedience to us. However, in order for God to protect His children, He needs to do something that is visible to us. If God loved all the world the same, then the bullies would rule the world. I don't mean this in a disrespectful way, but it's important to imagine what would happen if abusive power came from God.We are not in a relationship where we are under the control of the Lord; instead, we are being forgiven for our transgressions when the world is looking on and wondering why we are so joyful and confident even when we fail and sin. His discipline of us is in total freedom and grace; He does not treat us as our sins deserve, even when He disciplines us. We get a small reminder in order to be encouraged to find our comfort in Him.When God disciplines us, it should actually make us love Him more, because it is an expression of His love. If His Son asked for a piece of bread, He would give Him a snake, so His disciplining of us is actually an expression of His love. At some point in our lives, we will look back and rejoice in Him that He held us in His hands. For us to feel as if we are protected, He must express His anger to those who would threaten His children. I really do not understand how anyone could embrace universalism and think that God loves everyone the same.God loves us directly and supernaturally through His protection of us. We must come to the point where we lay down our arms in our love for Him, and our anger is consumed by His proof of His love for us through His protection of us. Why would we give God all of our troubles if we did not think He would act on our behalf? It boggles my mind!!! Some people like to feel like they are in an abusive relationship. Now, for those who are undecided about whether or not two realities are evident in the conviction of a saint, they cannot keep themselves from sinning. Anger must be consumed. If you memorize the book of Psalms, you will see that it is the Shepherd teaching. This is a clear example of God's grace.
