The scriptures provide the foundation for the word of God that was implanted in us when we were regenerated. We received the Spirit of God who took up residence in us as the only voice. The Spirit subdued our wills by killing our old will and the word became flesh to us. The Spirit and the Word began to rule in our lives. This means that the direction of our lives took a 180 degree turn. We no longer belonged to ourselves. The word is the instrument that pronounces judgment and victory in making our paths straight.The Spirit and the word go before us, leading us into all Truth, just as the fire of God leads Israel. I am starting to develop this concept in more detail. Because the word of God is purified seven times, it is more durable and lasting than any other instrument on this earth. Because the word in us is God's saving declaration, not only as to the new birth but in the future detail of our lives, it is more reliable than anything else.This final reality is the fire of God that goes out before Him and consumes His foes on every side. This word has seven judgments on Gods enemies, which are like the seven pronouncements or sins that are deadly. Because you cannot separate the word from the Spirit of the word, these judgments are sure to be carried out. This means that nothing can come into our lives unless God decrees whatsoever comes to pass. Therefore we wait for God to speak salvation into our lives, just as we would seek after God.  This connection has been purified multiple times and is very strong. The word of God is a pronouncement of judgment as well as a life-giving spirit. I think we have the workings of the seven spirits of God that go out in judgment to save God's elect. So they produce life on the one hand and passively produce death on the other. There is always blessing and punishment. We have the concept of the angel of the Lord who fights Israel's battles. This angel does the will of God.This angelic figure works through the natural world to bring about the destruction of the wicked. In order to understand how this works, it is important to understand that the term "purified" refers to protection from a specific type of negative influence. The belief is that wickedness is ingrained in people, and this leads to the use of language that is not in line with God's will. Sin arises from the actions of sinful people, and when wicked people are prospering, they leave an imprint on society that produces a world view that is designed to destroy the righteous.This angelic figure works through the natural world to bring about the destruction of the wicked. In order to understand how this works, it is important that the term "purified" refers to protection from a specific type of negative influence.Man is born into a state of sinfulness, and the entire human race is under the curse of sin. But God chooses to bestow His love on a small number of men, and He must come to them because they are prone to rebel. So God makes a covenant with this community of His own and calls them His children. This covenant is purified and made sure by God's seven-fold declaration. He decrees and calls some men to Himself, and that calling is irrevocable. Instead of His elect looking to themselves for change, they look to God's covenant from Abraham. There is only one word that is sure and unchangeable, God's promise to have a people for His own.We are always required to look to God's eternal mercy, grace, kindness and love for guidance and strength. When we understand that everything that is good comes from God, we can acknowledge there is an imprint of His goodness on us that goes beyond our own willingness. This imprint is the spoken Word of God that becomes flesh in us. The words Spirit give us life. This is why we long to be close to God and why we are His children. We must get into the habit of tapping into these seven spirits that are imprinted on us as our worship identity.
