Saints who experience persistent sin are presented with a singular solution: the acceptance of grace. This concept denotes a gift that is bestowed freely, without any expectation of reciprocation. Sometimes, repentance is presented as an unattainable objective that cannot be achieved. As such, there exists no action that could enable a person to obtain or retain grace. Attempts to obtain grace through actions are futile, as grace cannot be quantified or measured. Any attempt to measure grace negates the essence of the concept itself. Moreover, no one can demonstrate that they possess grace through their repentance, as this would be a contradictory notion.Christ's teachings were not intended to encourage saints to strive towards acceptance on their own, but rather to demonstrate the impossibility of attaining salvation without divine grace. The act of granting repentance is necessary for salvation, and any Christian who encounters Christ's challenging teachings must surrender their sins to God without conditions in order to obey Him. It is important to note that guilt is not a favorable condition, but rather a burden that weighs heavily upon us.The desire for justice to be served upon those who manipulate us through guilt is a manifestation of our wish for legal retribution. Additionally, those who comprehend the negative ramifications of blame, as outlined in the Old Testament, recognize that God absolves us from this burden when we look to redemption.
