Only by learning to rely on Jesus Christ can we attain a state of complete dependence on God. There are underlying causes for finding ourselves in such situations, and while some may advocate for a self-sufficient approach, any deprivation imposed by God ultimately serves our best interests. Although God retains the right to let us perish, His greater concern is for us to find solace in Christ. Hence, He may use any circumstance to teach us humility and to acknowledge that our reliance on Him is all-encompassing, both in life and death.Trials are intended to increase our reliance on God by encouraging us to pray to Him and find solace in His love. Through these trials, we will reach a state of complete dependence on Him, with no human intervention to provide an escape route, thereby compelling us to look up to Him and find rest in His divine presence. The most severe consequence that could occur is our mortality and subsequent ascension to heaven. However, the Almighty exhibits compassion by granting us sufficient resources to navigate life's challenges. Furthermore, any adversity that befalls us, regardless of its magnitude, serves a greater purpose in our spiritual development. Otherwise, we may become presumptuous and feel entitled to the blessings we receive, neglecting to seek divine intervention in every aspect of our lives.Do you possess those profound memories that inundate your soul and elevate you from the turbulence of the world? Such memories, imbued with spiritual essence, offer solace to our souls and engender a yearning for God's presence. They also enhance our present experience by diverting our focus from ourselves and redirecting it towards God's transformative work within us, thereby imbuing us with a sense of eternal fulfillment. The place of worship holds a significant role in our lives as it provides an opportunity for us to connect with the divine. Through hymns, illuminating words, and fellowship with fellow believers, we strive to attain a greater understanding of God's presence in our lives. This experience is timeless, genuine, and rational as it allows us to gain insight into God's nature and purpose. It is beneficial to take some time for introspection and contemplate on past experiences with God. The nostalgia of encountering God in our younger years carries with it a certain purity. During that time, our relationship with Christ was less complex and more focused on love. The act of going to worship was a joyful occasion filled with singing and rejoicing in Him. These feelings of longing for God were deep and profound.
