Prayer is an opportunity for us to express our dedication to God and to ask for His assistance in overcoming the challenges we face in life. When we pray earnestly, we are demonstrating our commitment to Him and our confidence in His ability. He has promised to reward us for our commitment and perseverance, and prayer is our means of progressing in this world. The responses to our prayers come unexpectedly, and we look at the miracles of God with amazement. In prayer, we are able to surmount all difficulties.Prayer allows us to develop a stronger connection to what we desire, and helps us to manifest those desires into reality. Without prayer, we would be cut off from God's guidance and would have no way of knowing what He wants for us or how He plans to use our gifts. However, when we pray, God puts desires in our hearts that we can turn into tangible causes. This relationship of being an overcomer is one in which we come face to face with the Most High over all the universe. There is nothing that is too great for Him to address, or too far of travel for Him to address.Prayer is a means by which we can petition God for the things we desire, and He in turn mold us into shapes that will help those desires come to fruition. But prayer is also about responding to those who oppose us; because God has said that vengeance is His, He will repay. So in overcoming our enemies, we are asking God to put us in a position where we can rejoice in His response. This position is one of innocence and dependence, because in prayer, the power to overcome is in God alone. Yet we still look to Him as our loving Father, who protects us and keeps us safe in His arms.Prayer is a means by which we can access God's love for us, and feel proud of His work on our behalf. Additionally, prayer is a way for us to develop dependence on God. The more we pray, the more we come to realize that God is the only hope we have for survival. sometimes we come to God with negative emotions like anger and frustration, but God takes these human struggles and transforms them into confidence that we will overcome. Prayer is also a way for us to appreciate our own weaknesses so that we can experience God's power. In doing this, we find our most cherished praise.
