It can be difficult to feel as if God is listening to us during tough times; this is especially true when we question His existence. During these difficult moments, it may feel as if we are talking to ourselves and wondering if what we say to God matters. However, if we did not believe that He was listening, we would have no hope at all. Prayer is our only way to communicate with God; even though it might not always feel like He is present, we must believe that He is always there for us.It's just like playing sports. The more you practice, the better you'll be when you get on the field. No one wants to go into a game believing they're going to lose. Why do we think that in sports confidence is essential to winning, but in life we think that God's silence means that He thinks we can learn a lesson through defeat? Does God not want us to overcome the trials in this life and get the victors crown in heaven? What happens in the end is important. If it wasn't important, then life would have no defined purpose. No matter what anyone says, we have a formidable opponent in the Devil, and we must absolutely defeat him. If God has already defeated the Devil at the cross, then believing that we win by losing would be inconsistent. If a coach told me that he knows, through prophetic powers, that we are going to win the game, it would not make me less confident, but more confident. The crux of the matter is that if we do not have the confidence to pursue God until we win the battle, then we do not really experience the power of God as He displayed it on the cross. The cross demonstrates that God has the power to defeat evil, which is represented by the Devil. The Devil is a traitor and a coward, and when God speaks, the Devil flees. However, if we were to try to use our own power to defeat the Devil, we would be destroyed.Prayer is a way to connect with God and receive guidance from Him. It is like having a game plan for how to achieve success. Our words have power and can create life, and God's word is the ultimate source of salvation. By connecting with God through prayer, we can tap into His power and receive the guidance we need to achieve our goals. It's important to use prayer as a way to communicate with God, and to not give up when we don't hear an answer right away. We can use arguments as reasons for God to listen to us, which is like using tactics to appeal to our wives or girlfriends. God likes to be spoken to as we are drawing Him by our longings for His unfailing love. drawing near to God and then presenting our case to Him. And then we can appeal to Him to intervene on our behalf.
