I would like to discuss the topic of curses in more detail because it is not a topic that is typically covered in depth. I am confident in what I am saying and believe that it applies to everyone. I know that there are many people who feel the same way as I do and who can relate to what I am saying. We are united in our trust of what I am saying. Our belief that God is on our side and his enemies are our enemies is a confession of faith based on Christ's words. if they persecuted him, they will also persecuted us. The principle from the Old Testament is we never stray from God because we are always in need of help and always being misunderstood. God's people believe in things that are truly free because God is sovereign and acts in the recreation of all things. Therefore, it is extremely difficult to always confess our faith in the face of unbelief. We may waver in our beliefs when faced with doubt or opposition, but ultimately we must remember that our faith is in God, who is sovereign and powerful. Only He can give us the strength to stand firm in our beliefs, no matter what the circumstances. When considering religious narratives, it is important to take the source into account - for example, whether the narratives come from a book of traditions or from scripture. I am interpreting these narratives from memory, and they have shaped my understanding of how grace works. I am not interested in creating a division between different interpretations just for the sake of argument, but I firmly believe in salvation by grace. There are two types of curses: those that are wicked and intended to cause harm, and those that are sanctioned by God and meant to protect people and punish wrongdoers. I have never heard anyone correctly explain the difference between these types of curses. Once, I heard a rabbi say that "curse the curses." But in reality, there are wicked curses, which are harmful intentions, and curses from the law, which are sanctioned by God and are meant to protect people and punish wrong-doers. It is important that we always think carefully about what we believe and communicate our beliefs to others in a way that builds trust and unity. I have followed the proper, normal, logical and true way of interpretation by starting with the clear teaching of doctrine. There is a hidden relationship between the curse and God's elect that only God can see. To try to understand how these curses apply is to try to figure out who is part of the elect. And the reason that it's important to teach two curses is so that we do not play fast and loose with the threats to those who are living in a blessed state. Understanding the curses is absolutely essential to understanding the covenant because God promises curses on those outside the covenant from one generation to another. God is very serious when he says that he hates fathers who are outside of the covenant relationship. He is not joking around. What he warns about is exactly how the movers and shakers of covenant faithfulness understand this distinct blessing. There is no in between circumcised member who enjoys Gods blessing. Because God deals with men face to face. "I will accuse you to your face". "because you thought I was like you". Or you failed to think thoughts after God so you do not know Me. You failed to seek My face. It is clear from the doctrinal sections of the Bible that in order to have a relationship with God and understand Him, we must have an understanding of His wisdom. This wisdom is demonstrated by those who follow His path, despite the temptations and challenges of the world. Those who betray His grace are clearly described in detail in the Bible, so that we can see the contrast between those who obey Him and those who do not. It is only through regeneration that we can lay down our own desires and think outside of our own limited understanding – something that is impossible without God's help. Therefore, the work of salvation is entirely His work, and not ours.
