I have only ever met one man who was not afflicted with some kind of ailment, and that is the apostle Paul. I have known Paul for some time and I understand his gifts and his position in the New Testament as the ambassador for Christ. He is stretched beyond any other man. One of the psychological handicaps that can have a profound effect on individuals is the inability to control emotions. This is not something that can be simply taught, as we all have some experience with it to some degree. Raw emotions, in particularcan have a devastating effect on both the body and the mind.I do not believe that a person can experience both fear and love in the same relationship. I believe that perfect love casts out fear. In other words, God's fatherly care is the only way that a person can understand his own propensities and avoid things that bring the warning of impending emotions or being able to have the strength to go through the situation. Whatever He asks us to do, He gives us the ability to accomplish the task.God deals with us through love, care, and understanding because He is our Father and knows what we need before we do. We cannot gain a full understanding of the causes of fear by looking at the symptoms or the solutions because we will never fully understand why some people fear certain things and others don't. Most explanations for the causes of events are based on scientific observation, but we can only understand them by observing what we see. God, however, knows the entire event, both what is seen and what is unseen. This is why life is not just about the sum total of our choices. It's about understanding the way we receive things in our circumstances and our ability to judge these things correctly. Because really the only experience of a emotional handicap in terms of the kind and amount is in our own minds, not necessarily in the real world. This is why we must know our God, because He makes reality and He makes it complete to us personally. We need to be able to judge these things correctly, because our own minds can create fear where there may be none in the real world. Knowing God is essential to living a complete and fulfilling life, because He is the one who created and controls reality. It is imperative that we gain a comprehension of the extent to which our Father loves us. We must go beyond what we can simply communicate with others and instead allow ourselves to experience what God has to say about His love for us. We must frequently remind ourselves of His love so that we can effectively face and surmount the difficulties that present themselves.Although it may be difficult to believe that God loves us given our sinfulness, it is important to focus on those things that He has said in order to experience perfect love. Our sin can remind us that God is not happy with us, and we may naturally fear that He will punish us. However, if we focus on God's love for us, we can overcome these negative feelings. It is important to be aware of our limitations, because if we are not, we may find ourselves in situations that are beyond our control and which could cause us a great deal of pain. What we believe about Christ is crucial in determining what we avoid and how we deal with our handicaps. The world is often a harsh and dangerous place, but if we are careful and mindful of our beliefs, we can minimize our risks and maximize our chances of success. We as humans tend to want answers to things, but often do not take the time to understand our own personal limits and susceptibilities. The world can be a treacherous place, and take advantage of our weaknesses. This is why it is important to be careful not to push ourselves beyond what God has given us the ability to handle. I am saying that it is better to be slow and cautious, than to be rash and impulsive.
