God has given those of us who belong to His church the right to judge both visible and invisible situations without having to go to the world. Because God is going to adjourn His court in the future and judge the inhabitants of this earthMany people who experience injustice, hope for a day when they will see justice done. They believe that God will right the false scales and that everything will be brought to light. One potential reason why God might not judge our accusers and enemies with immediate punishment is because He is working to save people from every tribe, nation, language and culture. This would suggest that God is not only just, but also patient. However, it is important to note that God has given us the opportunity to go before the courts of heaven and plead our case before the final judgement. He has provided us with the language of His court so that we can go to Him anytime and argue our case. It is suggested that God loves it when we force ourselves before His throne to plead with Him to bring about His final judgement and to protect His elect. In fact, it is our responsibility to bring our petitions before Him, as these petitions are described as a sweet smelling aroma that ascends to His throne. It is our responsibility to prepare ourselves for the final judgement of God, when He will have all men stand before Him to reward some and punish others. Our ability to appear before Him and argue our case is what the bible calls praying with understanding. We take pleasure in knowing that there is a great Judge who hears our petitions and will ultimately render a just verdict. We also take comfort in the fact that, through our daily communication with this Judge, we are gradually being vindicated. The day will come when this communication will become reality, and it will be a sweet day indeed.
