Following the downfall of humanity, the earth was immediately subjected to a persistent cycle of death and decay due to God's punishment. The possibility of complete restoration seemed far-fetched and uncertain. Nevertheless, the reestablishment of God's authoritative reign reintroduced a transformative approach to restoration, which includes both understandable and perplexing aspirations. Given the earth's involvement in violent rebellion and extensive corruption, every individual is accountable for their contribution to the devastating and fatal consequences. The prevailing belief is that only God has the power to prevent humans from causing their own destruction and damaging the human race. According to the Psalmist, the restoration of humanity's moral goodness and freedom can only be achieved through God's punishment. As a judge, God is seen as the only one who can bring about ultimate freedom and has a unique understanding of how to do so. People naturally seek judgment according to their desires, and God is granting them this inclination. Those who prioritize redemption through divine justice will be suitably rewarded. It is not the responsibility of God's followers to hold individuals accountable for their own judgment. The most expeditious means of effectively resolving this social issue is through an abundant bestowal from God of our genuine desires, while also justly granting the wicked their natural desires to achieve unification. As the Psalmist stated, "Rise up, O Judge of the earth; pay back to the proud what they deserve," emphasizing the importance of divine retribution in minimizing harm to innocent individuals.Individuals who do not recognize the presence of a the Almighty and conduct themselves accordingly are subject to experiencing a sense of arrogance. The Psalms describe such individuals as being agents of corruption or harboring a sense of anxiety due to the notion of being cursed. The author of the psalm raises an inquiry to the divine regarding the duration of time that the unrighteous shall be permitted to revel in their merriment. Nevertheless, the elation of the unrighteous is frequently utilized by influential individuals as a means to propagate their nefarious influence. Within this contemporary society, a stratified power structure prevails, whereby certain individuals exalt themselves to the position of deities, assembling numerous devoted adherents to further their own agendas.
