We always give God the praise He deserves because He leads us to peaceful and calm waters. He protects us from the arguments and disagreements of others. He sets our feet in spacious places. In short, God leads us to a life free from turmoil and stress. He blesses us with success because He showed His power through Jacob, our forefather. We are led to the puddles of Baca. God provides us with a shield that surrounds us on every side. This is the place that we always return to; it is the place of refuge and protection.The credit for everything good that happens in our lives belongs to God. We sing His praises all day long, and we are deserving of all the glory that He has given us. He is the God who always does amazing things for us – whether we realize it or not. Our ancestors have told us about the awesome works of God – what He did in their day, with His own hand. God drove out the nations in their time, just as He has promised He would do. So we can be confident that anything good that happens to us is a result of God's intervention.We are grateful to God for His protection from the harmful actions of wicked people. We praise Him for His wonderful deeds. We will be happy and rejoice in Him. All praise to the Lord! We praise Him in the sanctuary, and we praise Him with musical instruments like the harp and lyre. We praise the Lord, the most powerful! He supports our rights and our cause. He sits on His throne and judges fairly.God has established His rule over the earth through His covenants. He has provided redemption for His people. God works righteousness out of His faithfulness and love on behalf of His people. God speaks and it is accomplished. He commands salvation and we are saved. Oh God, please speak your salvation and give the command to save us. Why are you sleeping? Arise and come to our aid! Let us hear joy and gladness!When we are in trouble, we turn to God for help, and He hears us from within the dark clouds. Our cries reach His ears, and the earth trembles and quakes in His presence. Surrounded by dark clouds, smoke rises from His nostrils and a consuming fire comes from His mouth. He reaches down from on High and delivers us, setting our feet on a rock. He gives us victories. God is faithful to His covenant with David and His descendants forever and ever.He leads us to the daughters of Zion, a place of innocence and peace. It is a place of beauty and comfort, where we can be weaned from the world and be cared for like a young child. We are not concerned with matters that are too great for us, and he prepares a table for us in the presence of our enemies. We have still our souls like a young child with its mother.Our soul is like a wean child within us. We should put our hope in the Lord, for he will provide for us and protect us from our enemies. He is our hope and our protector, and we need not worry about the troubles of this world because he will take care of us.
