The throne of God is a reflection of His beauty and power as seen in the created universe. It is a timeless view of all His acts of creation and sustaining the universe. When we view the throne, we see it in its glorious, unveiled form. This allows us to see the events taking place in this world in a new light. God is eternal and not bound by time, and His throne is a reflection of that. From His throne, we can see all of creation and the events taking place within it. This gives us a new perspective on the world and helps us to understand God's role in it.When we observe God on His throne, we witness the symmetry and beauty of His creation. What we see is a singular event; however, it is composed of numerous different happenings occurring within time, which are hidden from us. However, when we approach God in worship, we see Him on His throne in all His glory, with the perspective of all of time in His gaze. So all created beings are giving glory to God.This powerful image of God surrounded by His creation reminds us of His greatness. His wisdom and strength are on full display for all to see, and He rightfully deserves our praise and admiration. We not only view this symmetry, but we are also influenced by it, so that we are overwhelmed by this glorious sight.God is not physically present on Earth, but He still has a view of everything that happens here. He is not affected by the corruption and chaos of the world, so He sees things differently than we do. To us, beauty and symmetry are important, but from God's perspective, those things are not as important as the reality of our minds. God sees things from a different perspective than we do, one that is not influenced by the negative aspects of the world. From His perspective, what is important is not our physical appearance or the symmetry of our actions, but rather the reality of our minds.The reason that God does not appear to be actively involved in the events of this world is because He is eternally present in the spiritual realm, which is separate from the corruption of this world. So God is recreating the world through the means He has ordained—primarily through His word and Spirit. In our natural longings, we are gazing into spiritual reality in order to recreate this earth.
