I think it is important to discuss how liberalism and the gospel intersect. My brother here has made a good confession, but I think it is often difficult for us to talk about the messy teachings of the gospel because we are afraid we will sound foolish. It is easy for us to use our own way of speaking because we think that will be rewarded by God, but that is not always the case. The gospel is not just a set of beliefs or teachings, but something that we experience and speak about that keeps us humble and prevents us from claiming its power for ourselves. In order for the gospel to be the pure and whole gospel, we must confess our sinfulness and need for God's grace. It is essential that we keep the key points of the gospel in mind at all times, as they remind us of our identity and God's nature. We shouldn't shy away from the details of the message, as they are what help us to cultivate a desire for it that grows stronger the more we talk about it. If we want to share the gospel effectively, we have to keep its central ideas at the forefront of our minds and continually remind ourselves of who we are and what God is like. Additionally, as our interest in the gospel message deepens, we should also make an effort to learn more about its specifics. According to the Psalmist, our prayers can help us to connect with God on a deeper level, just as the gospel message provides answers to the needs of our soul. This single desire for connection with God produces a sense of satisfaction, as if we have enjoyed a feast and been completely satisfied with its delights. The appeal of the gospel is that it is accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or culture. The gospel is the only message that can truly transcend all cultures and bring people together in love. This is because the gospel is the only message that speaks to the deepest desire of our hearts - the desire for intimacy and connection with God.This is the most important part of the epistemology of the gospel. It is important to understand the mechanics of the gospel so that it creates in us a love of that one desire that draws us into a freedom and a focus as if we were in the presence of God Himself.
