I don't believe that Calvinism is the only interpretation of Christianity, and I'm not a Methodist. I believe that there are more aspects to Christianity than the Greek motif, and that it can be interpreted as covenant- Calvin. I am a Christian who believes in covenants, that we cannot offer something to God with our right hand and take it back with our left hand. However, there are clear lines between law and gospel in the Old Testament, so if you are familiar with that worship book, you will know what I'm talking about. Through examining the examples of the Israelites in the Old Testament, we can learn that sovereign grace is a powerful tool that can help us overcome our difficulties. God has always been faithful to help His people, even when they are faced with challenging times.Thank you for reading. The Israelites were specifically warned about the dangers of relying on their own strength, and were encouraged to rely on God's help. This was done to help them understand that God is always faithful to His promises. Behind every difficult situation, God is always smiling because He is always working in His discipline. This does not mean that He is withdrawing His love, but is instead demonstrating His power and authority. I am not removing anything by using a two-line Greek motif. I am providing you with clear teachings from the Old Testament and explaining the boundaries we are taught about these images.
