Anxiety is a normal response to the thoughts we are taught throughout our life. These thoughts can often be based on our own experiences, which can lead to restless behavior and a cycle of negative thinking. It can be possible that we're drawn to these patterns because we feel superior to others, or because we believe our thoughts will always lead to success. However, these thoughts can also lead to anxiety and other mental health issues. If we're willing to explore our thoughts and habits, we can begin to change the way we feel.We can't guarantee that someone else isn't experiencing the same thoughts and feelings as us, but it's likely that they are. These thoughts can have a powerful impact on our life, controlling us under the control of our sinful condition. However, there is a sense in which the path we've developed is like the poison that flows through us, and we can't see it as the connection to our anxiety. The gospel has a powerful indirect influence on our restless thoughts because it's not just a message of encouragement or a promise that is being made real. It's the effect of gospel thinking that creates a thought life that overflows with freedom. It's like having an aesthetic of pain and having a kind of automatic response of pleasure in the spiritual condition. This is enjoying a level of freedom rather than reacting from anxiety from a source that we don't know.An attitude of redemption means that we focus on the good things God has done for us, and we avoid focusing on our mistakes or how we are struggling to live sin-free. Instead, we try to find out more of the glory of God in our involuntary pleasure. When we have adopted this mindset, we are not restless or anxious. On the one hand, we are shielded from the power of the flesh, and on the other hand we have courage to pursue the heights of God's love for us. We also seek to find heaven on earth, in order to experience the fullness of God's glory.
