We all make deals with God, thinking that if we do certain things, He will grant us our wishes. However, this is not how God works. He does not need us to do anything for Him; He simply opens our eyes because He sees something in us that is worth saving. Do you know that God never makes deals with anyone? He saves some people and sees that they need to be carried from one place to another. That's why He is the great Shepard. Because He carries us from one wandering place to another. The only reason that people think to be moral is to make deals and keep them is because they think that it will satisfy their sense of equality. However, the truth is that no one can determine what is equal. Not a single man has ever been satisfied with the returns on his deal! This is because the universe is not a real image of true worth. That's why love is unattainable by works. Because once you make a demand on being loved then you must love perfectly. However, love can only be love when it has no standards to love. It loves from a realistic view of eternal love. This is why love is communicated because it is condescending.It could be argued that there is only one true love, which is eternal and exists outside of time. This love originates from a source that is itself love. If we believe that God is love, then it follows that love is God. God loves us not because He sees something worthy of love in us, but simply because He is love. His love for us is completely free and unconditional. If we were to experience a love like this in our own lives, it would be a communication from God that would not come with any strings attached.It would be a full expression of all that comes with feeling worthy in always being loved no matter what.
