I am not saying that other objects are God's object. I am only saying that God is only pleased in His own image of Himself. There is nothing good outside of God. I think the Edwards article "End for which God created the world" will be helpful in understanding this concept. I do not think that ideas are dangerous in themselves. I think we both agree that in seeking wisdom, we must seek knowledge. It is like looking for a hidden treasure.Because God is primarily a teacher, He has a principle that all truth is in His truth. Frustration is not a process that we can use to draw an analogy in which our approach to truth is what makes it evil. If something is true and we are corrupted, then we are on the road to transformation. If it is not true, then our own desire to make it true is not God's way to truth. The old saying is if i don't know i am saved there is nothing that will help me except seeking the gospel. There are many sorrows in this world that we as humans find ourselves experiencing. We are like empty vessels who receive these sorrows as part of our humanity. When Epaphroditus was feeling sorrowful and sick, the apostle Paul sent him back home because he was homesick. Paul recognized that there are times when we must be sensitive to the general condition of a person, taking into account their strengths and weaknesses. We always want to bring a person to a place of rejoicing in God, rather than focusing on their sorrows. This is why we cannot redefine the process of transformation. We are mainly teachers and not fruit inspectors. We are simply showing a beggar how to find bread and not adding more burdens to them than they can handle. Sometimes it is best to overlook people's foibles in order to save them from much sorrow. This is the gospel approach. Stay away from people who think that it is always correct to tell people they have cancer. Some people need to be loved by giving them hope and not necessarily the truth. The old saying is if you haven't walked in my shoes then keep your mouth shut.It would be irresponsible of us to try to hurry along the process of dealing with sensitive areas of people's lives. Our personal involvement could easily produce a disastrous outcome, and something that we would have to live with for the rest of our lives. There are several reasons why God might lead each person on a different path, such as the focus of a teacher. If God could enable everyone to face all the problems in this life, then He would be the only one who has the right to determine how much they are required to carry. If God gave us the responsibility of judging others, we would need to take into account our own lack of understanding and the potential for causing them sorrow. This would mean that we could be held accountable for the outcome. Who would want to have that reality facing them? Paul did not return to every family he destroyed in his former life and apologize. In fact, he made it an issue of the gospel to say that he did not have the blood of any man's hands on him. So, even on this earth, judicial qualifications are in light of God's grace.Paul did not follow the sermon on the mount as a law, but rather as guidance. It is important to be careful in how you interpret such guidance. I would be very observant of someone who did not have a full understanding of these counseling methods outlined in the Psalms. They provide a foundation for living a supernatural life, and help to distinguish between what is true and what is false. If you are in this business and have the ability, I would recommend memorizing this book.
