I agree that there are both willful and unintentional sins, but I don't believe that there is a different standard of severity for these sins before God. Although some sins may cause more suffering than others, this does not mean that the punishment for these sins will be less severe. God always deals with His children through discipline in order to help them mature, rather than through punishment for their sins. He does not repay us according to our sins. There is a lot more sin that can be committed by not acknowledging the Calvinist view point, because sins of omission are committed by not desiring or longing for the things of grace in order for those things to happen in time. We do believe in longing grace. However, if we share with God our ability and we are rewarded by our ability, then we are requiring what we cannot do.This is sin, because our longing for grace is the birth of the power to perform by acknowledging that the power does not come from us. However, the cause of the power is in the object we long for. So we can waste a lot of time in the omission of righteousness by having confidence in ourselves and thus sin by that. Grace is always free and it is all we need. I hope you see the difference.
