What is the significant relationship between eternal laws and covenants? Psalm 9:10 "Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. " The Covenant Teaches That We Place All Our Trust in God's Eternal Love.  God's covenant appears in our Psalms and teaches that God acts in accordance with the covenant and is the keeper of the law. 94 12 Blessed is the man you discipline, O LORD ,the man you teach from your law;13 you grant him relief from days of trouble,till a pit is dug for the wicked.14 For the LORD will not reject his people; he will never forsake his inheritance." . The reason God disciplines His chosen people. The above statement in "verse 14" is God's motive for our necessity tests. By punishing the wicked, God protects saints from being abandoned by laws and covenants. God holds those who break his law accountable. A wonderful difference between the covenant and the law. God directs all actions, so by no means does he renounce his inheritance, setting the rules against the wicked.
