We believe that Christ's incarnation was His descent into hell on earth, fulfilling the prophecy that He would come to earth as the ultimate Savior. He is painting a picture of the distressing circumstances Christ endured while living in this barbaric world. I find myself surrounded by fierce lions, men whose mouths are armed with sharp teeth and deadly arrows. The eternal Son took on human flesh, and now I am lying among them, in the midst of a group of violent people who are all dedicated to death. The simmering anger and hatred that many humans feel leads to premature death and destruction. When Christ arrived in the world, he came from the perfect connection of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He entered a civilization full of dangers and passions, where hostility and aggression were the norm. He was entrusted to the care of men who have unlawfully taken control of a chaotic world of intense dangers and intense passion. 6" They spread a net for my feet I was bowed down in distress. They dug a pit in my path but they've fallen into it themselves. The world where men exercise evil cursing. 4b" men whose teeth are spears and arrows, whose tongues are sharp swords. They anxiously desire to cruelly destroy their doubtful neighbor. consequently, the world endures a life and death battle. This is why the law pronounces death to all criminals.6 They dug a pit in my pathbut they've fallen into it themselves."  The Psalmist teaches that all men aim to take advantage of their neighbors, even when they profess to care about them. Because of Christ, we are shielded from harm. He came to free us from the curse. The curses we utter are really real. Christ showed Himself to be at the same level of intensity as what we rightfully deserved. He refused to protect Himself from the eternal curse we deserved, instead choosing to bear the wicked curse we created. Christ's curse has proven effective against the wicked, and so we are able to pronounce it with success. This is why the Psalmist is proclaiming the eternal glory of all the earth. Christ bore the eternal punishment so that we would have assurance that we are protected from God's wrath. The Psalmist is comparing how Christ is aware of the dangers and schemes in this cruel world to how we take in a breathe constantly exposed to the treacherous hazards and deceitful schemes of wicked men. On a daily basis, we confront evil by cursing the wicked to an eternal hell. We are confident that this is the right path for us. With the destruction of the curses that came from Christ, God has fulfilled the law. The only thing that the singer voice truly relies on is its own dependency." Be exalted oh Lord , let your glory fill the earth."
