The Lord is on your side, watching out for you--he will punish barbarian kings on the day of his punishment. Look upon every proud man and make them feel ashamed, destroy the wicked where they stand. Kings and armies that have been defeated flee in haste; in the camps, people are dividing up their belongings. God Almighty dispersed his enemies. His enemies flee before him. The people who live are always so proud of the Lord when they hear about his great achievement. They are happy for his success, and they congratulate him on his righteous actions. He is responsible for the preservation of their brilliance and soundness, and by his gracious manner he blesses our horn. Actually, our ammunition is under the control of the Lord, our rightful king. The Holy One of Israel is the one who rightfully rules over us, according to our Jewish faith. I have called upon the servant of my heart, David, and anointed him with my sacred oil.He will never be challenged or harmed; no wicked man will defeat him. He will have the power to control the oceans and rivers. I will always be able to document his lineage of his great throne and the heavens will never end. Under Christ, God completely entrusted everything to him.This divine power was so great that it encompassed everything in existence, from the power to make decisions and control events to being the authentic son of God's house of aristocracy. He is a humble and true representation of what God is like. We are the ones who make his house a welcoming place. We come to experience Christ's love, mercy, and grace in a direct way. God wanted to make sure that the promise of eternity would be clear to those who would inherit it, so he gave them a pledge. God did this in order to give us the opportunity to rely on Christ for our salvation, providing us with the strength and security we need.We are not those who back away in the curse, but those who believe and are saved.
