Ps 55 20 My partner attacks his friends; he violates his covenant. 21 His speech is smooth as butter, but war is in his heart; His words are quieter than oil, but they are swords drawn. 22 Stand firm, and your cares in the Lord will sustain you; He will never let the righteous fall." This notation describes how the saints  relate to one another. We all tend to confess our salvation within the terms of God's covenant. We can say salvation is a covenant of God makes with us, in which the terms of the covenant are continually fulfilled on God's side but are never absolutely fulfilled on our side. The essential truth about our covenant commitment is the teaching that God killed the curse in Christ's death. We are no longer forced to suffer guilt, shame, sadness and fear. however, in this psalm he describes how we can violate our covenant agreement. The Christian, under the judiciary of the Covenant Confession, is a kind of fierce soldier, giving due support to his faithful companion in war. Reason enough that this can be a war pact is that we all share in the death of our old selves. Our sincere commitment to dying to our old selves is more important than bringing our moral conduct into line with covenant requirements. Honestly I want to say that when we die later we tend to share a new life, but when we are dead spiritually then we are subject to death. 15 Let death surprise my enemies, let them go down alive to the grave, for evil finds a home among them. 16 But I decree, God, and also the LORD, save me."You can't put your feet on either side." And that can be natural, because evil opposes us. They keep confronting us with concrete threats and potential violence. Because of this, exposed individuals are truly dumbfounded. because we are simply being asked to embrace the people who are resolutely opposed to us. However, if there is a mutual misunderstanding in our uncredited performance of being a weak show, we cannot be counted on. This may be why the Psalms appropriately allocate more time when sincere requests have the specific purpose of proactively protecting God's covenant people. He even asks God to bring His willful destruction to the desired end for those who willingly hurt the sheep. You can usually muster an efficient leader to proactively care for the sheep, and under your proactive care you can vigorously promote everlasting peace for the people in charge. In fact, I have uttered this psalm for thirty years and would never counsel anyone who does not respect these moral obligations to be an effective leader. The first answer is that I'm not a menacing type, except that my noble family needs to be sure they understand. I expect moderately effective protection. I diligently watch you through these verbalized sentences. This may be the direct reason that active Christians generously share the greater freedom.
