Gods words are trustworthy because they are revealed in scripture as covenant law. God must always judge sin and moral corruption by the eternal curse of moral law. God cannot mock Himself by law that did not apply to Christ death and resurrection. Heb 6 18"God did this so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope offered to us may be greatly encouraged." If God said only some corrupt men are judged harshly for their sinsHe would instantly cease to be morally justified. He would judge by the an attractive quality of a responsible person. For God to be morally justified, He must be equitable. This is why God justly says everyman must stand before Him by their sin. But if you carefully look in the appropriate balance of sacred scripture, the divine justice of God is intentionally put on Christ. If God merely carried out the personal justice on Christ in a pragmatic way, He would instantly cease to be morally justified in His questionable moral judgements. Therefore, for God to be justified and equitable, He must faithfully carry out the eternal law in Himself. He must amply satisfy the punishable offense in Himself. This is what the author of Hebrews is carefully teaching about the sincere hope we have. Since God sufficiently justified the sin in Himself, He justifies our active lives in the appropriate exercise of His divine justice. This is why Divine justice must not be subject to the political constraints of the finite. God cannot be satisfied merely by a finite law. He must be amply justified by peacefully exercising infinite law. We as finite creatures are clearly observing the exercise of the rewards, and pleasure God receives Trio receives in the Trinity for the work done on the saints behalf. This is why John the Revelator carefully teaches Christ is the Lamb on the eternal throne who properly receives the ransom price in eternal rewards and moral judgement to the created earth. Rev 4 "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. 10 You have made them be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth." Our secure identity in eternal heaven is kings and priest of the Lamb on the eternal throne. What realistically was the necessary work and eternal reward to the Lamb. The priceless value of our eternal salvation was dearly purchased by the eternal work of the Lamb in the Godhead. The Lamb who rightfully gains our eternal rewards in completed addition carries out the moral judgement for our considerable suffering. Rev 6 10 "They called out in a loud voice, How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?" The "on the Throne the Substitute" judges the wicked with divine judgements from heaven to earth. Our official entrance into eternal heaven will be properly focused on the Lamb who dearly purchased us and rewards us graciously according to eternal value of His satisfactorily completed extraordinary work and reward. This is why the beloved apostle says we graciously receive in this life all that Christ obtained. The authoritative pronouncements of eternal law, covenants, curses, divine decrees, enabling statutes and promises inseparably unite eternal heaven and earth. Ps 62 11" One thing God has spoken, two things have I heard: that youO God, are strong,12 and that youO Lord, are loving. Surely you will reward each person according to what he has done." Its an idiom, "one thing -two things" speaking of our eternal rewards are properly valued on two's of God, strong and loving as apt metaphors for fire and light.
