Ps 21 2 You have granted him the desire of his heart and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah Ps 145 19 He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. " alteration, the most fundamental necessity to unite our desire remain our need. We need thinking about this. All of my life I have consistently taken a teaching and put it through my meditation. I find teaching about "will and desire" is the most misunderstood among modern-day theologians. Some times you get better counsel from the external world than from the Christian world. Because Christians are comfortably criticized into hating themselves. When a person loathes himself, he implements his sin and corruption to allow other people more authority than the bible teaches. Its hard for us to understand salvation represent essentially the safe teaching in the difference between bondage and freedom. The most obnoxious curse in the New Testament was against the religious people who took away the freedom of the gospel. This is why we must examine the sound doctrine of "desire and will". Because it will color everything else about our lives. You can go to war and enter a battle with real guns. And you might think it is the most risky activity in the world. But the Bible highlights a considerably graver danger. It is being advised by a self-righteous teacher. Counseled by someone who is capable to destroy our souls. You must be aware because you can be branded for life. We must understand if God releases us but does not unite Himself to us we cannot desire, choose and act in a consistent manner God developed us. If we are incompetent to desire, choose and act under our own control salvation is powerless rehabilitation.
If our desire and Gods desire are not united for the same ends our relationship with God remain a secular one. Hence, we are incompetent to please God as He has produced us. We are incompetent to enjoy a relationship face to face with God. We must be dominated by moral force before our desire can be united to Gods desire. This is why we hear phrases like God will strike against your desire to cause you to grow. People use the verses where Christ talks about taking up the cross. They are asserting our will and Gods will are not united. But we must place that cross in the context of all the teaching. This little teaching generates all the difference the world. We are released God intentionally destroys our old will. If God did not destroy our old will we are still cursed. If we did not die to ourselves in the historic past we are under the destructive power of death and curse. These verses, I am purportedly showing you are throughout the Psalms. I never accepted teaching God was consistently trying make us holy by going against our will. We must adequately understand that if God cannot act appropriately to inseparably unite our "expressed will" we are abject slaves. We must inevitably be under the onerous obligation in an adversarial relationship of overwhelming opposition to our unconscious desires. But the truth God inseparably unites His desires to our desires so we sincerely require the legitimate reason He lowered Himself to our appropriate level. Do not let anyone strategically position you under the moral obligation to endure continuous pain to voluntarily submit your conscious will. That is abject slavery.Ps 20 4May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed."40 8 I desire to do your will, O my God; your law is within my heart."41 2The LORD will protect him and preserve his life; he will bless him in the land and not surrender him to the desire of his foes." 70 2 May those who seek my life be put to shame and confusion; may all who desire my ruin be turned back in disgrace." 73 25Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
