The psalmist describes the affirmative defense of the Bible as a cornerstone on which we stand; Since we live in a fallen world, we must understand that God's cry for our safety is the unique foundation of our unwavering trust. of criminal crimes against the kingdom of God, but we are represented by a judge who defends us. We have a Father who is our judge.
Man is at enmity with God because of sin; he was in a state of active hostility towards God and man; the covenant of creation gave man the ability to use the law successfully through the curse. Destroy God and man. That is why the apostle says that all people suffer from smallpox to excuse and judge others. All men are slaves to this curse.
When we manipulate the law to destroy God and others, we curse ourselves. We find ourselves in this cycle of defending ourselves and curse ourselves. We cannot escape this slavery unless God makes us righteous again. When man sinned, God had to curse him and creation to prevent man from exterminating mankind. In other words, God's judgment against the first sin would have been if God had not come. as a human being and fulfilling the law in passive and active obedience, then the human being would have cursed himself. He will receive the punishment of his rebellion forever.
God had to use His righteousness to deliver us from the slavery that afflicts all humanity. We do not live in a neutral and pleasant world for God and the elect. We live in a cursed world full of rebellious men who try to curse others. and yourself. This is the state of active enmity with God.
We have to live with the philosophy that people who are unjustified by God live in the blindness of their own violent reaction to God, so they were commanded in OT to remove all leaven from their place of residence. The leaven represented the danger of misapplication of the law as a result of the curse. The leaven had to be removed so that we would not be tempted to trust the wrong application of the law and curse ourselves. Although we have been freed from the curse by the cross, we are surrounded by significant dangers that could cause us to walk. With noticeable limping. So Jesus warned that the Pharisees would inflict a permanent wound on him. The psalmist teaches us how to carefully prevent violent attacks.
He tells us that all people curse themselves by trying to be righteous by their own works; God has made man a judge who is able to judge the law; in the garden man could rule creation by applying the law that was implanted. He obeyed the rules of the law; but if man sinned, he was not destroyed as a person; cognitive abilities have been cursed; Man depends on whether he successfully carries out the law.But the problem is that he is cursed for manipulating the law to deliberately destroy God and neighbor. Because he cannot escape the abuse of the law, he accuses benevolent saints of using God to seek justice. He will attack weak and dependent saints.
The essential question is, if Christ went through the most extreme suffering and mistreatment by men, becoming a curse to benefit us, why are we so easily tempted to accept that we are not like Him? because they were sinners who do it? Do you fight fear, guilt, sadness and pain? If Christ proves we are favored, why do we focus on this world to care? Christ sufficiently shows that He is successful in our success. Therefore, real faith means denying yourself by rejecting the curse of the law. When we curse the curse, we adequately express our dependence on God's righteousness. We must remove all leaven from our presence.
