Therefore the psalmist does not trust his own confession of sin. Sin motivates the psalmist to be suspicious of his own wisdom when making pronouncements. This discipline of making legitimate arguments in order to adequately establish the highest justice and righteousness typically consumes the psalmist's desperation at the effects of the curse in this life.Instead of heightening the psalmist's despair, sin induces him to consume the destructive power of guilt and shame; it rises in blessing or descends in curse. The correct application of his ideal law.
