My experience is that contained anger is a weight of despair and the practice of living it privately in front of Him has only been useful because a feeling of helplessness is related to worrying about ourselves and that worry is a cause of the feeling, not to be what we deserve. We react angrily to that. Some of this may be true now. Our problem is that we don't know what is good anger and what is unfair anger. Where we react to situations that do not correspond to our personal feelings. Or it is a loss of connection between our feelings and circumstances. I am not saying that if we do something we will heal. I say that most of the time we are fearful because we are angry and don't realize it or because we weren't transparent to Him.It's not for him, it's for us.
Our language is linked to our vision of pleasant and unpleasant, the nature of forgiveness, and finding a solution in due time. But then belief is what to expect. The only two ways that God acts, through salvation or through judgment. There is no intermediate solution between the souls. In this sense there is no compromise. But the disposition of grace is the reality of God's perfect love to resolve in time. What the righteous long for will be fulfilled, what the wicked long for like chaff. So we have no despair like the world. .
