It makes sense to examine the spirits thoroughly in order to sufficiently know whether the words are from God; it is evident that the sacred words are mixed up with our mortal weakness; our humble confession must be habitual like the apostle, and whatever is wrong, let it burn out and let us not use it, but what is true let these words succeed. Hence, of course, stumbling begins with our own weakness. That's why we curse. We misinterpret words when they are communicated to us. What we examine must make us grow. This is extremely important. We curse the destructive intention to properly translate the ability for our growth. We fully understand the spiritual context by skillfully avoiding the corrupt context of man.God's unchangeable law remains our friend because it is the precise instrument of the Spirit of divine illumination. The words of Scripture should largely satisfy our awakened souls, rather than appeal to our capable intellect. The more we experience eternal life vicariously, the more divine blessings it will be.

The danger, of course, is to receive the holy words without uniting the listener and the speaker. We search diligently for the glorious gospel all our lives, and it is in it that dung rises to the fore. We try to do this by cursing and decomposing what we have to do. A suitable example is the false teachers Nadab and Abiu who offer strange fire. This active resistance to our expressed frustration does not conform to the provisions of the entire law. In its purest form, it is destructive to divine grace. By teaching qualifications, we are under the divine obligation to kill destruction.
