I was a dispensation guy once. I will explain the reason why I no longer hold onto seven dispensations. But I think dispensation doctrine merely divides this Bible into seven ages. Fit into the narrow context of Scripture. So there is an enormous effort to take an idea from elsewhere in the Bible and use it to create a false division of these so-called ages. I believe that dispensations are just explained step by step. It is a story of salvation in God alone. Hence, the purpose of Scripture is not to show how God works through economies, but works as a saving God. This salvation is declared by covenants. the highest authority on earth.The story of salvation explains how eternal government works in world history to change all human attempts to replace God. Throughout the history of Old Testament, God maintains a lineage establishes Christ as ruler. This story of salvation is the great subject of the Bible and serves as the lens through which we interpret all of the scriptures.

 The world is divided by creation in the light of God's ruler-ship. There is earth, the first, second, and third heavens. The history of Israel is explained to show the works of God. God is on earth and explains his acts of fidelity, goodness, judgments and righteousness in the events of history. The central purpose  is to show that all of his acts in the story are accomplished in one man. What the dispensationalist is doing is misplacing the text of salvation. Ancient Israel and future Israel. If you shared the text, future Israel would introduce temple worship and offerings. You cannot divide the text and avoid bringing back what God has already perfected in His Son. The apocalypse gives us. A glimpse into the sky through the history of the world. God as governor does not change. He acts against governments that do not bow to Him. Revelation simply explains how God acts from heaven to judge the nations of the earth throughout history. This will continue until the last person on God's calendar becomes a saint. Then God will establish a new heaven and a newly created earth.
