There is a tendency, that approaching the end of yourself is nothingness, utter abandonment of knowledge learned becomes our sensual and spiritual desires. We are not a soul encased in a body. But soul and body. We worship God with soul and body, equally important and good. Selflessness is not divesting us of extensive knowledge to become like Christ. Knowledge different than other familiar people naturally possesses. This is critically significant to a proper self-understanding and is selflessness. There is a sense acquiring knowledge by long hours of empirical study and meditation, typically get a payback.

If a responsible person explains valuable insight, is personal responsible to be spiritually effected by more extensive knowledge than another person. There is no sincere apology here. That would be mock humility. There is nothing more backwards than a civil society of most respected individuals least knowledgeable. Because of apparent lack of extensive knowledge, my people perish. Preparing for the ministry is retaining more knowledge than you think you have. The facts represent, God requires personal understanding of which He is through knowledge accumulated by hard work. If we don't recognize Him by what is pleasing, or performing, there is no necessary amount of rewarded selflessness.

I know we disagree and however enjoy times discussing. Consequently, I am not provoked or turned off by another view.Presently this world view into the local church remains a separate matter all together. But this idea our faculties are corrupted and our souls are made perfect, remain perfectionism. Our actions are caused and not determined by us. Any time we set ourselves up to fail by self-righteous view of life will be determined by chance. We do not choose by corrupted appetites and perfect faculties. The cause in means and ends remain the evidence of the cause. An accomplished end will come from a noble desire. A bad end will come from a crude desire. It is from the heart man produces evil. For the sake of argument, a relation between material senses and desires remain a cause prior to  choosing from senses.
