Ps 13 1 How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and every day have sorrow in my heart? How long will my enemy triumph over me?" Whatever we vicariously experience, God affectionately knows when we do not understand. The theme of this Psalm is we describe to God this experience to nudge ourselves. God could establish the following circumstances to vary our anxiety, fear, and shame. Consequently, God assumes the operational responsibility for adequately dealing with our experienced troubles.

Ps 13 3 Look on me and answer, O Lord my God.Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;4 my enemy will say, "I have overcome him,"and my foes will rejoice when I fall." The number one problem of experiencing troubles and sorrows of this life is the loss of hope. We genuinely believe we will be consumed by the potential problem. If we are overcome, we will be destroyed. We depend on God to shelter us from injury. We must describe to God until we are no longer threatened.

5 But I trust in your unfailing love;my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing to the LORD,for he has been good to me. The Psalmist disciplines himself to have hope. The Psalm is starting with the specific need for God to progressively improve his cheerful disposition and ends with dependent confession God will correct the complex problem. God will develop the solution by speaking this Psalm, so we have a history of remembering His goodness.
