I've been invariably speaking the Psalms for 40 years. We live in a pragmatic society. For us to know ourselves must know God. God adequately communicates to us in baby talk by authoritative pronouncements of law, covenants, curses, decrees, statutes and promises. These pronouncements represent successful application of the gospel. God has invariably spoken the pronouncements in eternal decrees. Most of our specific problems are not understanding God has already pronounced His intentions in the relationship. We suffer a lack of mutual understanding of the moral clarity of Gods decrees. Why did God explain the social relationship in authoritative pronouncements?Because we confront a formable enemy who knows, moreover, than we do. He undoubtedly remains a grand master in twisting sacred word. Therefore, God adamantly opposes the devil in revealed eternal pronouncements for us. We try merely making the gospel successful. But the gospel is complete. It is self-revealing. God pronounces the everlasting covenants to provide social stability to exposed saints. The curses to quell our organized opposition. The fulfilled promises to properly secure our future with eternal hope. The decrees to buttress our sacred trust in determined future events that cannot be thwarted. And the applicable statutes that constrain us from the sensual pleasures of this world. God has already pronounced the ideal kingdom. We focus on Gods holistic application that adequately address our needs.
