The Psalmist is carefully distinguishing between the corrupt culture that man develops in isolation and the personal security that only God can generously provide. He declares."it is You who know my way." This word "know" is better understood by us if we reasonably think of it as "God sufficiently establishing our way."The Psalmist uses these sacred words in the dependent context of God in us and we in God. Most of the words we use when we are talking about interacting with others is in a genuine fellowship of social equals. But the Psalmist is faithfully describing something that is considerably deeper than human relationships. He is breaking down everything that we typically encounter in this world as a official description of how it is proactively working to efficiently deliver us good and to glorify God. This is the primary truth in the Psalms that our objective reality is how we appropriately describe our unique experience and our meaningful connection to this ideal world. We sort of typically contain an ongoing description of our documented history and we conveniently describe our present circumstances by that little voice in our heads that has left an imprint in our minds. In the Psalms God is the only one who describes all necessary things in the effective way that they proactively work and fit together in genuine reality.

This is why in this time frame before all necessary things are faithfully recreated both heaven and earth. When the visible skies will be rolled back like a scroll as they were at the cross, we will be capable to undoubtedly see the eternal throne of God and the effervescence of God shine out into all eternity from the new earth. Gods glory and His radiant beauty will no longer be hidden behind the sacred door. But until we are in the new pristine kingdom, we must resolutely face sin and each other who naturally infect with the virus of sin.
The Psalms carefully teach that sin and evil which are a result of the fall of man grip the sound world in elaborate deception. Man is helpless to overcome sin in himself. I mean, not just choosing to faithfully perform this good instead of that evil but this Psalm is carefully describing men trapped in their obstructed view of the world under the authoritarian power of the rampant corruption of sin. All men are terribly distressed at all desperate times of thinking about things as a personal description of political reality they slant to their own advantage. This is why personal religion can remain a way to improperly use their view to fraudulently obtain something for themselves. Men can collect the religious words and employ them to mortally injure their neighbor. This is why in the Psalms the description of Gods rest is harmless speech that promote peace. Resting in Christ to tell the story without any aggressive attempt to control circumstances we have been taken advantage.

This is what Psalmist is saying that those who persistently try to control others must resolutely face the whole law and be cursed to death. This is the critical issue in this psalm. That the Psalmist must overcome all fierce opposition to be set free. But the Psalmist is not saying his actions will lead to this new conversion (this current revival.) Rather pleading with God to undo everything that has been placed in his path. overcoming everything and will bring others to this freedom. This key phrase "Then the righteous will gather about me because of your goodness to me." in the same context as we invariably find in the kings prayer in Ps. 9 13 O LORD, see how my enemies persecute me! Have mercy and lift me up from the gates of death,14 that I may declare your praises in the gates of the Daughter of Zion and there rejoice in your salvation. When we speak of direct conversion we are typically talking about years of struggling and wrestling in fervent prayer and then God answers.
