Shame remains the tool that men utilize to climb the ladder of success. Yet shame is what motivates those same men to merely exercise authority. Anyone who uses shame is in miserable bed with wicked shame. We must understand shame is present in the terrible world because of rampant corruption. Shame remains in fact a companion of guilt. Anytime we fail to comply with Gods standard we experience guilt. The personal guilt is like a burning sword driven deep in our wounded souls. When we do not recognize the unauthorized intrusion of guilt, becomes self hatred. When we hold self-hatred, we are locked up in shame. As you can see to shame, remain the personal enemy of freedom. Some people have lived so long with feeling shameful they cant logically point to the enslaved people or hazardous situations which they were talked into shame and connect it to their sorrows.

In this Psalm David is adequately dealing with his self-hatred because of being shamed by his accusers. In the Psalms God embraces us because He adequately developed and comfortably establishes us beyond our frustrating experience. In a world all men are incited by shame. God bears the weight of shame valuing us apart from our experience in this shame filled world. Gods view endures no shame because He reorders everything to work in perfect unity. This divine unity is Gods perfect value of everyone He has created. Shame is actually devaluing people who reasonably achieve unity in His eternal kingdom. He pronounces the comprehensive view of the world wins over shame vs 34, Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and all that move in them,35 for God will save Zion and rebuild the cities of Judah. Then people will settle there and possess it; 36 the children of his servants will inherit it, and those who love his name will dwell there.

But God cannot willingly allow us to go through shame with the promise in the foreseeable future that He will judge righteously. God is not like reckless men who fall into a baited trap of cruel shame. If shame surprised God, He would not exercise His will over all wills. God must act appropriately outside of time prior to the historical event that shames us. If God claims He enthusiastically embraces us, He must act efficiently without any official opposition. Or Gods love would be untrustworthy. We do not require a successful defense after but before we are shamed. Otherwise God would be inadequate in communicating genuine love.

God has adequately provided us with the effective remedy. The only remedy for shame is the pronouncement of death. This Psalm is divided into seperate key parts. The first part the Psalmist complains of pain as a result of people shaming him. The Psalmist issues a bold statement he has not purposely shamed anyone. In fact he says that even when people were shamed because of his sin, he prays God will not bring them shame. But if you look at the second part you will recognize why the psalmist distances himself as a person who shames. Because cruel shame is bitterly cursing someone. It is actually pronouncing death to that exposed person. Consequently, in the second part he is treating shame as a fatal attack on his life and posterity. He is pronouncing the curses on those who shamed in hand to hand combat for his life. He is properly expressing to anger it in a legitimate way. Unsatisfied until the curse eliminates shame from the city. Then the beloved country. etc
