Church should consistently be described as a mighty nation assembles on the sacred mountain overlooking the formidable forces just over the visible horizon, ready for climactic battle. The war priest begins uniting Gods armies by leading the troupes in a song of victory. The official ceremonies of the imminent war Priest should be terrible. We assemble to fight a war on the Lords day. Our effective means of mutual encouragement and appropriate instruction should be properly focused on advancing warily against our formidable enemy and fighting valiantly in hand to hand combat. The effective means of unshakable faith must communicate enough hope to endure until the next Lords day. We are in a desperate battle of eternal life and sacrificial death. We are in grave danger we may not make it another brutal week. We could be wrecked when we go out into the wicked world in hand to hand combat. We assemble under the sacred banner of a King who passionately declares absolute allegiance. We sing under the sacred banner of fighting valiantly and bravely. The voices of all the men who shout the hymns as if the war priest had to summon the troupes to advance and destroy the enemy. We are prepared in our uniforms with our weapons standing in a flank across the mountain ready to advance against the enemies. The saints must sing in unison like men. Our King demands we make music with a thundering voice of assured victory. We are like the victorious armies of warriors assemble to sing professionally in unison. The Psalmist has written the pronouncements of fighting in hand to hand combat to injure the armies of Satan. The lyrics are filled with terrible curses to subdue and apprehend the armed enemy lest we be cruelly destroyed.
