Why does the Psalmist present such authoritative statements that God adequately represent the only Person in this world that we can trust? He is not indeed saying we can depend on God for eternal salvation but must trust men in this informed world. Would it not be logical to grant man some credit for our success because if God fashioned them then they are a reflection of God's attributes? Why doesn't the Psalmist say that God has adequately established the world and graciously allowed it to prosper through common grace? After all we must place some value in the decisions of men to get along in this world. But the Psalmist is uniquely describing the world as the mighty king who has destroyed independent nations by lawfully carrying out the ultimate judgement in the curse who mistreated the oppressed people by unlawfully taking bribes.
If the nations continue relentlessly to oppress their exposed people by extortion then God would not be righteous in governing His personal creation. You see as a consequence the Psalmist is not trusting in his military or his weapons. He is using God's authoritative pronouncements in a ideological war to combat the aggravated abuse. Consequently, when the Psalmist publishes statements in allowing God all the value in devaluing the nation's he is reasserting that God maintains a scale of justice and He is not ignoring any of the abuses. Therefore, the Psalmist constructs a vigorous defense that God will resolutely set the scales right!
Psa 62:2 He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress. I will never be shaken.
The Psalmist is nor merely writing to describe his experience. He continues to be the king professionally writing the prophecy of judgment on the nation's before he obliterates them. He habitually speaks decreed destruction by the curse in His eternal counsel. You see nothing was left out of the competent counsel of God. The axioms are eternal pronouncements that cannot be thwarted.
The authoritative pronouncements sufficiently encourage us to believe
that God has already won the emphatic victory before the event naturally
takes place. If Christ has taken control of all things then the axioms pronounce the historic victory over all things. God does not speak any uncertain counsel!
