Ps 89 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne;

love and faithfulness go before you.

15 Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim you,

who walk in the light of your presence, O LORD .

16 They rejoice in your name all day long;

they exult in your righteousness.

17 For you are their glory and strength,

and by your favor you exalt our horn.

18 Indeed, our shield belongs to the LORD ,

our king to the Holy One of Israel."

God rules the earth from His throne. When God created the earth, He established His law. If there was anything that existed that was not a display of Gods law then there would be no reasonable argument for its existence. So all the working parts of creation are the description and the proof that God acts according His law. Without Gods law being established then other forces could be equal or stronger than Gods control.

Our confidence that Gods law is never mocked is in the judgements that have been established toward law breakers. God has cursed all law breakers. Because God requires the payment of death, then He rules over all things by law. There is no force outside of God that changes His standard of justice. The establishment of Gods law on the earth is evidenced in the constraining of mans work to destroy the earth and mankind. So the consequences of death to lawbreakers is a state of alienation from God and not just in the final judgement.

When God gave His law to Israel, each violation of a law had a judgement of a curse. Even tho man was given a free will, he could never violate Gods will. When God created all the working parts , He made them unable to go outside of their purpose. Nothing is able to break the bounds of Gods constraints. There is no substance that is equal to God.

Gods law is the foundation of all creation and institutions. The power of God in sustaining and ordering all things by His law is eternal. He has not only revealed His law as clear lines that cannot be crossed. But He has revealed His authority and power to carry out the law in His covenants, curses, decrees, statutes and pronouncements. The problem is not that Gods law is established. The problem is that man does not think thoughts after God.

Gods law has already been established. The entire creation is held together in God establishing His law. God describes His power in carrying out His law in the disposition of blessing and cursing. All things are controlled by God in the power of His curses or blessing that work beyond the actions and effort of man. The constraining powers of the blessing and the cursing are forces that render man unable or able.

In Gods government all things are judged at all times according to His justice. God judgements are beyond our understanding. His curses are the worse destruction that we could ever face and His blessing are beyond our most pleasurable experiences. Gods government is present in the the most evil that man can accomplish. Our pronouncements of Gods curses, decrees, covenants etc consume our personal loves and hates. We descend into Gods vengeance in the curses and ascend into Gods pleasure in the blessing. Gods view of all time is greater or worse than we could ever imagine.
