The law of God was the guide by which Israel enjoyed the balance of powers. Not only did the law address the needs of lower and upper class. but it provided the protection for individual rights. The King may have had absolute power to pronounce death but he was still under the constraints of Gods law. You will find that the king could not take personal vengeance upon those who were guilty of war crimes. No one was allowed to take personal vengeance. God provided the people with the same individual rights as we enjoy in this country. The scripture teaches that when man fell into sin the total corruption was exposed by Gods eternal government. So grace not only involves matters that are narrowed down the spread of the gospel through missionary endeavors. But we must understand that all human governments are under Gods eternal governing laws that address the different obligations in relationships of people that have no distinction between political and religious interaction. Grace is the standard by which each man enjoys absolute freedom in Gods economy. We are taught in the bible that all speech is measure by God according to His moral law. Every word from the beginning of time has been scrutinized by God as He has created man with his own governing authority. He has given each man absolute rule over his kingdom. The authority of man is according to Gods nature. Man was made like God. But because of sin man was cursed with a violent nature. The violent nature is described as any communication that redefines Gods word. So when the bible talks about the house of Israel, nature of man, law of God, ability and inability of will it is in the context of blessing and cursing. So God created man as one and made the world in the structure of the unity of His entire law. There is no difference between political speech and religious speech. There is only moral speech that is the expression of the total ability of man to rule over his kingdom according to Gods word that either prevents or allows as God measures every plan that man has devised in the long history from the beginning of time is that by which Gods renewal of all things is brought about. God uses both good and evil to bring about His ends.
