We should meditate on Psalm 31 spoken by Christ on the cross. The sacred words reverberate through eternity of the historic event in time and were culminated in His final battle over Satan. And if there is anything available to us  living in the profound reality of Christ dominance over Satan, we have not pleaded the Psalm enough in prevailing prayer. We are powerless in ourselves to overcome these sorrowful circumstances. But we are promised Christ would send His Spirit as the extraordinary comforter in this terrible adversity spread over the world. His Spirit rest upon us finding a secure refuge in experiencing comfort and stable peace that passes all understanding.

We can have faith that rest in this completed work, by being reminded of Christ present comfort in His Spirit. Baptism of Gods Spirit comes upon us and makes us drunk with divine pleasure. His glory shines gloriously upon us, rejoicing in Him with joy unspeakable and full of glory. The beloved saints possess conquering fellowship with the Holy Ghost breathing life in us so that we are brought out of ourselves. We discover a supernatural power that transcends our present suffering. Christ obtained comprehensive victory over Satan in final attack just before He gave up His last breath. We are receiving  life because He traveled the dreaded road beyond our understanding. He is far greater to direct us out of our deepest trials. He remains a sincere friend of sinners.
