The legitimate righteous threats are in the form of the curses. Righteous anger is expressed in the pronouncement of the curse. When we express anger in the curse God responds to us with love and the defense of judgement.The wicked curse the righteous and are responsible for their rebellion. They express their violent attitude through pride and self confidence.But the righteous speaks the curses in compliance with the law of God in the defense of Gods judgements.We must fight with the pronouncements in order to avoid trusting in other gods for salvation. We are confident by confessing that the curse is sufficient in protecting us from the dangers of the wicked. 

This is why we do not accept contradictions as an alternative to the mystery  promised in the covenant of Gods love for us and judgement pronounced upon the wicked. We are confessing covenant faithfulness through the curse in repelling the violence of the wicked. 
 God has given us the way to extinguish human anger when we feel threatened..  In uniting our anger with Gods we are seeking to gain control of the law. We trust that God who is control by His omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotence will carry out His law according to His perfect judgment. Although the wicked set out to destroy the righteous they do not believe God will judge them for their unjustified use of the law  . The rest of mankind does not see ...they do not understand... it does not matter that God curses law breakers. Our activity in our approach to God does not translate to them. They are completely blind. They curse to destroy other men. But we curse to bring peace.
