Ps 1510 Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD , have never forsaken those who seek you." The Apostle teaches the God who initiated a worthy work in us will complete it. The gift of eternal salvation is generously provided in its fullness. We have been made complete in Christ. When we were released, we were implanted with the word of God. This word is adequately described by the Psalmist as a thorough knowledge of God. In this way we cannot fail in affectionately knowing and understanding God. The key question is does the Palmist teach that the we humbly trust in God according to our gradual growth in necessary knowledge or is he saying we identify God fully and we cannot fail in depending on Him? Hence, is our empirical knowledge gifted to enable us humbly trust or is he saying we peacefully exercise our strength of trust by our knowledge? This is satisfactorily resolved by the Psalmist description of our established identity. The Psalmist teaches God has maintained His law as the standard in accepting His, saints. 37 31 The law of his God is in his heart; his feet do not slip." God faithfully upheld when He instantly declared all necessary things into independent existence. The Psalmist is teaching the moral law of God goes beyond a moral code. Define all images of creation. The law is technically an eternal covenant - law. Therefore, the bible teaches the laws purpose and function is to order and unify all creation. This is when God issued the law to Moses, He proclaimed His covenant people obeyed it completely. The Psalmist teaches those who enjoy this gift of divine knowledge are produced a creative ability to rely on God. The covenant law speaks of Gods completed work undoubtedly making us perfectly acceptable in the foreseeable future which we are come to be what we hitherto are. We have been faithfully translated from our former life in cruel bondage to the law to be radically changed by the creative process of renewal. But if God promises to efficiently deliver us to completion in faithfully fulfilling the covenant of creation then what part invariably does the law play in Gods work of continuous renewal? For us to be hitherto made to complete the law had to be satisfied. This is why the Psalmist teaches the at Gods moral law is a covenant law. for Gods covenant to be complete, He had to fulfill the laws demands. The law is more than a moral law because God intentionally designed and promptly ordered all things through satisfactorily establishing a covenant with man in the private garden. God caused the fruitful earth and established a harmonious relationship with man in voluntarily giving man authority over the creation. The key question is if God issued the law for the purpose of revealing His glory in Adam exercising his authority over creation then at what point is a fallen sinner worthy of exercising his authority over the creation? The Psalmist teaches we are not becoming something that we will be in the future, but we are come to be what we hitherto are. For us to hitherto "be" the law had to already be fulfilled. This is why God peacefully exercised His covenants faithfulness to saints by pronouncing death upon all law breakers. Hence, when the Psalmist says that Gods people obeyed the law when it was communicated, he is speaking of the remarkable success of Gods curse as God fulfills His covenant to saints.AR
