Ps 119 40 How I long for your precepts! Preserve my life in your righteousness." The Psalmist is teaching he devotes his days meditating on Gods word. Meditation is simply rehearsing the creative works of God that are satisfactorily accomplished by the creative process of continuous renewal. God promptly declares all things into independent existence into appropriate time. Time does not manage the appropriate course of the world. The heathen world is governed by pronouncements of the penal law, broken covenants, ambiguous statutes, arbitrary decrees, wicked curses and short lived promises. But his extensive experience in this world is irresistible longings produced by the logical axioms. This produces a holistic assurance resulting in praise, longings, complaints, and petitions. In this practice of pronouncing the axioms he is producing a statutory environment. The orthodox longing that spring from the axioms produces the balance of the soul. "Preserve my life in your righteousness" His steps are directed in the containment of the axioms as he expresses his longings in praise.ect. The official pronouncements of the moral law, curses, enabling statutes, eternal decrees etc result in the considerable success of the divine precepts. The Psalmist accurately describe the devious course of desperate time in vicariously experiencing of irresistible longings. Time represents the weight of the curse. Time is constraining and fleeting. Under the logistical constraints of time, we are prone to worry and fear. Time merely represents the past unaccountably disappearing into the bleak future. The moving of time inadvertently provides a harsh reminder that life is fleeting. This intentionally creates desperation in the Psalmist. He longs passionately to promptly break the effective constraints of time. The practical constraints and the fleeting nature of time are naturally forcing us under the bureaucratic control of the terrible curse. Our sole hope of casting off the emotional weight of excessive worry and groundless fear is by pronouncing the logical axioms. We typically retain no creative power to wrestle with the weight of the wicked curse. We do not sustain the superior force of will to cast on the weight of the curse. The terrible curse must be put to death. Therefore, the Psalmist silences the logistical constraints of time in pronounce the fundamental axioms to engender irresistible longings. The Psalmist describes his commanding presence in this time constrained the heathen world as ordinarily going from one longing to another. As he is pronouncing the moral axioms, he is longing passionately to long. As he is longing to long, he is asking "how long." adequately describing the leading cause of all the lifelong struggles. Whatever attribute that saints possess in common they are artfully arranged by the logical axioms. So whatever we vicariously experience like superior strength, unspeakable joy, operational security, youthful exuberance, genuine sorrow, considerable pain and lasting peace, are undoubtedly contained and fueled by the authoritative pronouncements. The broad struggle of accurate self-reflection is to staunchly oppose the pragmatic ideas in intentionally inflicting them to eternal death by the logical axioms. All of our creative thinking must be carefully directed by the divine law, covenants, etc. We must intuitively understand that genuine reality is Eternity breaking into time. The Psalmist undoubtedly discovers the sacred mystery as the by innovative product of longing to long passionately. Divine mystery is the spiritual awareness of the divine unity of all lovely things. "Preserve my life in your righteousness." AR
