Ps 111 2 Great are the works of the LORD ; they are pondered by all who delight in them." The Psalmist is carefully teaching that the excellent work of God was to produce all things and decree the fall of man. God decreed in eternity past that His divine creation would become morally corrupted by the fall of man. God ordained that He would miraculously save His creation by decreeing the official history of Redemption. The Psalmist teaches God accomplished the sovereign work of salvation by reversing the effects of sin and corruption in cursing the creation to prevent man from sharing in the renewal of all things. God sufficiently developed all things graciously according to eternal value. Redeemed all things by offering the eternal price to avenge the suffering of saints in being devalued. Secured salvation in reversing the corruption by cursing the wicked cursed. God ordered all things graciously according to His sacred word. He declared all things into independent existence for His purpose. Created the things to work together for good according to His value. When sin and official corruption entered the world man instantly began to devalue the necessary things of God by redefining the creative word. Man seeks to regulate Gods creation by speaking so he arbitrarily defines the devalue of divine creation. He steals from eternal value to enslave men in his finite scheme. But God puts the wicked on a leash because He possesses all things and promptly returns the aggravated theft by transmitting it to saints. Eternal salvation is in God alone because no one can scarcely escape Gods excellent addition and subtraction. Gods restoration of the eternal value of all lovely things was satisfactorily accomplished in the work of eternal redemption. This is why the Psalmist accurately compares Gods work to the divine presence of the dazzling light by night and the glowing fire by day in undoubtedly leading Israel to the promise land. Because the people were constantly moving they retained no institutional structure to generate the wealth that would accommodate their needs. God led Israel through the dangerous territory by meeting all of their specific needs. The Psalmist is accurately comparing this significant providence of a people who retained no convenient access to institutional structure with the work of Christ who conformed to the Fathers standard of value in His work in befitting a man. The Psalmist is saying that Gods eternal value is painstakingly restored to His people in the plan of eternal redemption by pronouncing death to the wicked. The impartial justice of God decreed from eternity past reestablished the continuous line between blessing and cursing in Christ work to repay saints. Gods law that speaks the eternal curse brings about the moral condemnation of the wicked as the effective weapon in the history of eternal redemption in avenging saints. The plan of redemption is the principal repayment of saints. 6 He has shown his people the power of his works, delivering them the lands of other nations. 7 The works of his hands are faithful and justified; all his precepts are trustworthy. 8 They are steadfast for ever and ever, done in faithfulness and uprightness. 9 He provided redemption for his people; he ordained his covenant forever- holy and awesome is his name.
