Psa 62:3 How long will you assault a man? Would all of you throw him down--this leaning wall, this tottering fence?  62:4 They fully intend to topple him from his lofty place; they take delight in lies. With their mouths they bless, but in their hearts they curse. Selah"

Notice that the Psalmist is arguing about the devaluing in terms of this ongoing war of the language of the wicked with the axioms used by the king. Lit. Why would you devise mischief about the king?" He uses strong words in uniting himself with God in using surely or only twice in 1, 2 . When we pronounce the axioms we are relating to God and man in an honorable language. We are not speaking in pragmatic terms. In this sense we are engaging ourselves in this great battle.
The Psalmist is teaching that God values us as men who determine our own position in the world by free choice. We have returned to the creation covenant in speaking the axioms as a king. He is asking God to protect his honor as the king in the creation covenant. The language of the creation covenant is the prophecies that were decreed in God's counsel. We are valued as the first man in the axioms.
We speak the law that has been satisfied in Christ as we pronounce it. We argue our case according to the covenant of grace. We pronounce the judgment of the law on the wicked in the curses. We pronounce the kingdom decrees to create our kingdom and we pronounce the promises in order to return to the creation covenant.
