Psa 25:16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.

The Psalmist is turning to God to be remade on the inside. He said that God has promised to confide in us because of His covenant promises . God does not want us to act as if we are not upset when we are burdened. Let me give you some advice from praying the axioms. Never keep you troubles to yourself. You must tell God exactly what you are experiencing. And here the Psalmist teaches us what our experience is on words

He deals with all of the inward troubles. Because we are social beings ae need to feel connected to other people. For a reason we do not feel connected to anyone. This is experiencing loneliness. We could be in the middle of a crowd and feel disconnected The second problem is experiencing inward troubles that weigh us down. We become a magnet to outward troubles and they pile up in us to the point we are going explode.  It may be physical pain. The third trouble is our guilt from sin. The Psalmist always complains about emotional and physical pain first then guilt and sin. Our troubles always turn our eyes inward. So we start dwelling on our sins. The last thing is the people who give us trouble
And if we are lonely and guilty then it seems that people start piling on. In describing to God our troubles He will listen . God wants us to experience wholeness of body mind and soul. The Psalms are written to create unity and wholeness in our lives. If we do not feel like we control the world we need the pronouncements.
