Our Heavenly Father is beyond all praise and adoration, deserving of a glory that exceeds everything we can attempt to express or honor. For He does not share His divine glory with us—our efforts at selflessness fall far short of His perfect holiness. Yet, in His boundless mercy, He graciously bestows upon us far more than we could ever ask for or imagine—flooding us with His divine power and praise, a generous gift that the world can hardly comprehend or grasp. This is the purpose for which we were created: to be changed from sinners unable to enter into His loving presence into those whom He has sought out from outside the city walls, offering salvation and new life. Now, through His grace, we have open access to Him—regardless of the pain caused by our selfishness and brokenness. He has chosen to transform our hearts, so that our desire to cling to ourselves diminishes, replaced by a longing to be close to Him. This new desire becomes so compelling that we would give up everything just to find in Him all that we truly need—our genuine fulfillment and salvation from ourselves. Our confidence is not rooted in our own strength or in our self-made goodness but solely in His gracious mercy. It is only through His generous outpouring that we find any assurance or hope; by His grace alone are we made who we are. Within this divine truth resides the gentle Shepherd, whose loving hand holds our struggles and fears, guiding us tenderly. Wherever love exists between us and God, there also dwells that compassionate disposition—an unspoken union of mercy and grace. For He seeks us out even when we are hardened, stubborn, and distant, coming to us as the Great Deli—our Savior—who rescues us from the gaps and walls we build through doubt and distrust. Although He pities us amid our sinfulness, His grace has decreed that we be delivered from the evil surrounding us, leading us into a rare and abundant rest—full of grace—that renews and transforms our weary souls. The God of all mercy and grace surpasses our weakness, coming close to mend our brokenness. No one on earth understands our deepest needs as He does, nor can anyone come near to perceiving the depths of our hearts. When we approach our loving Father, He draws us out of our hardened selfishness into His warm embrace—calling us tenderly through His Spirit, who bears witness within us that we are His children. It is in this divine encounter that our eyes are opened to see that His glory alone is the most beautiful sight—when His radiant presence fills the room, tears flow, mourning the decay of the world and the selfishness that hardens hearts and causes suffering.
