The love of God exceeds the limits of human understanding, extending far beyond what our earthly minds can grasp when it comes to salvation. This is the core message Paul expressed in Romans 9—a reminder that God’s sovereign will, combined with mankind’s tendency to assign blame, reveals a profound truth: love’s victory over hatred and anger cannot be contained within our narrow human comprehension. The glory of God is infinite and uncontainable; wherever His presence is made known, it spreads and encompasses everything in its vastness. God does not divide or share His glory with anyone—His divine purposes are fulfilled even amid the harshest accusations and doubts. Why would we think we can thwart His divine plan by accusing Him of evil or wrongdoing? Who are we, mere mortals, to question the Almighty Creator? Not unto us, O Lord—nor unto us—belongs the praise, but solely to Your name be the glory, because of Your steadfast love and unwavering faithfulness. It is within this divine love that the universe finds its foundation—a love that remains constant and enduring beyond the fleeting existence of human life. People come and go, nations rise and fall, kingdoms fade into the dust of history, yet God remains unchanged through all ages. He is eternal, receiving praise from generations yet unborn, because He sees the end from the beginning. The worth of every generation lies in His divine purposes being fulfilled for His pleasure long before they take their first breath. The eternal God needs no one to uphold or sustain His plans—His love itself is proof enough of His sovereignty. Recognizing this truth is the beginning of true wisdom: acknowledging and worshiping the only faithful One throughout all eternity. So, who are we, then, to question the Creator?
