2Unlike humans, spiritual beings have the unique ability to relate to God through sight—they behold His face with clarity and direct perception. We, on the other hand, walk by faith rather than sight, trusting in what we cannot see. This is similar to how birds appear and disappear in our view—fleeting visitors that reveal only a glimpse of their presence. They come and go, revealing only their transient forms, much like the unseen spiritual realities that surround us daily. When we speak the divine axioms—these sacred declarations—they serve as the very blueprint of the answers and manifestations that will eventually unfold in our lives. Like birds nesting safely in a hidden refuge, these truths fly into our experience, providing shelter and stability as they settle into our consciousness. God, being infinite in knowledge and power, acts freely and accomplishes all that pleases Him, operating in perfect harmony with His divine nature. Our dependence on Him stems from our limited understanding and limited strength, which makes us rely on His omniscience and omnipotence. Yet within His perfect will lies the foundation for our own desires: to align our will with His. The psalmist describes our deepest longings as resembling deep waters—sometimes murky and difficult to fathom, often confusing us as we strive to discern what aligns with God's divine plan. When we speak forth the axioms—these divine declarations—we declare our trust in God's promises, even amid doubts and uncertainties. Through this act of spoken faith, we find reassurance that the unseen promises of God are as real and certain as the birds that appear briefly in our view and then disappear beyond sight. By placing our trust in these sacred truths—these foundational principles or axioms—we cultivate a confident sense of peace and stability in the divine order of the universe. This trust allows us to rest assured that everything is unfolding according to God's divine plan, even when we cannot see it directly. In doing so, we open ourselves to the presence and influence of celestial beings—angels and other unseen hosts—who surround us constantly. Although invisible to our eyes, they are actively involved in guiding, protecting, and supporting us on our spiritual journey. They serve as messengers and helpers, working behind the scenes to bring about the realization of God's eternal purpose, which is rooted in divine love and goodness. Their presence helps shape a world where unconditional love reigns supreme, creating harmony and order beyond the physical realm. In this divine relationship, the psalmist offers a vivid analogy: comparing our connection to God with the flight of birds. Birds, unrestrained and free, move effortlessly through the air, their presence brief but meaningful. They come into our sight, then vanish beyond our perception, much like the angels and spiritual realities that surround us unseen. We observe their motion but remain unaware of the reasons behind their flight—why they come or go—much like the divine workings of the spiritual realm, which operate in ways beyond our immediate understanding. Despite their invisibility, this realm is ever-present, woven into the fabric of the axioms—the fundamental truths that govern all creation. These truths are the divine laws that undergird the universe, shaping everything according to God's eternal purpose, even if they remain hidden from our physical senses. They form the unseen but unwavering foundation of reality, guiding the unfolding of divine plans and purposes beyond our immediate perception.
