In this sacred encounter with the Divine, we experience a spiritual baptism—a profound immersion into His Spirit that transforms us from within. It’s as if we are being washed clean and renewed, living anew to partake fully of His Word and Spirit, much like gathering around a sacred table to receive nourishment. But these moments are not limited to outward rituals or mere physical acts; they are deeply rooted in dwelling continually in the radiant brilliance of His glory, which shines so brightly that it illuminates our faces and hearts alike. From one level of glory to the next, we ascend higher, drawing nearer to the divine presence that surpasses all understanding. When the Spirit fills us, we are overwhelmed by Christ’s presence, igniting within a longing so intense that everything else becomes secondary—nothing else truly satisfies or compares. With divine protection surrounding us, our focus shifts entirely to seeking after His glory, to behold the luminous light of His countenance. He uses His Word and Spirit as a purifying fire, burning away impurities and illuminating the darkness within. His words become sweet morsels, more delightful than honey, filling our mouths and hearts with divine nourishment. These words ignite a fire deep inside us, stirring our spirits and drawing us irresistibly toward the divine reality they reveal. Chosen by God for blessing, His Word and His Name illuminate every part of our being, flooding us with His power and presence. It’s akin to standing atop a mountain, overlooking all the circumstances of life from a divine vantage point—seeing through His eyes, perceiving the future as bright and blessed, not according to worldly standards but through His divine perspective that sees beyond the immediate. Spiritual encounters serve as eternal echoes of God's love—whispering through the corridors of time—reminding us of His past communications and manifestations. When we recall these sacred moments and places, we do so through the lens of both His Word and Spirit—visible signs of His ongoing presence on earth that point us beyond the tangible realm to the eternal light of His glory. These signs and displays are but reflections, glimpses of the divine radiance that exists beyond time and space. Through them, our eyes are opened to see behind the veil of the visible realm, and as we behold the luminous glory of His presence, our spirits are filled anew with His Spirit, transforming our memories into eternal treasures—imbued with joy that cannot be spoken and with glory that endures forever. He promises to lead us through every trial and challenge, providing guidance and strength. Often, we cling to curses and past disappointments—reminding ourselves of hopes and loves lost—clinging desperately to memories that, paradoxically, fuel our hope for future deliverance. Yet, our true battle is not against flesh and blood but against the personal adversary—the devil—whose fury is fierce and whose destructive rage is unmistakable. I understand the righteous anger that burns within a believer—a holy indignation—yet it must be harnessed and kept within the boundaries of Scripture. The spiritual warfare we face is far more intense than any earthly conflict, more devastating in its aftermath. As Christ purifies and burns away the shields of deception, we confront the enemy with cries of distress and tears, recognizing the danger of falling into his snares. The violence involved is necessary; it’s about resolutely separating ourselves from destruction and deception. We must not veer to the right or to the left but walk steadfastly on the path outlined by God's Word, avoiding the traps and pitfalls laid before us. As we become so saturated with His presence that nothing else can truly satisfy us, our meditation on His Word becomes our sole sustenance—our spiritual food. Descending from these heights of divine communion, we may briefly turn our attention to earthly events and circumstances, but even then, He grants us a fleeting memory of earth’s temporary satisfactions and bestows upon us a double portion of spiritual blessing—an abundance of His presence and power that sustains, renews, and invigorates our souls.
